Program Overview
The CMS & ED Education Program is a structured healthcare-support learning program designed to develop awareness and foundational understanding of community health, basic anatomy and physiology, hygiene, first aid awareness, essential drug awareness, patient communication, safety, documentation and timely referral.
The program consists of 18 months of guided study followed by 6 months of guided field learning and documentation support.

Detailed Syllabus
Module 1 — Community Health Support Foundations, Ethics & Communication
Community health support roles, professional conduct, ethical boundaries, communication fundamentals, privacy, consent awareness and appropriate escalation.
Module 2 — Anatomy, Physiology, Vital Signs Awareness & Patient Communication
Basic anatomy and physiology awareness, vital-sign concepts, safe observation, accurate communication and the limits of non-clinical support.
Module 3 — Health Warning Signs, Basic First-Aid Awareness & Timely Referral
Common health warning signs, basic first-aid awareness, emergency escalation principles and timely referral to an appropriately qualified professional.
Module 4 — Essential Drug Awareness, Storage, Labelling & Referral Safety
General medicine awareness, storage and labelling principles, expiry awareness, record support and referral safety. The module does not authorize prescribing or independent dispensing.
Module 5 — Public Health Awareness, Maternal & Child Health and Nutrition Education
Public-health awareness, government health-program awareness, maternal and child health education, nutrition awareness and responsible community communication.
Module 6 — Healthcare Documentation, Ethics & Field-Learning Report
Healthcare documentation, record quality, privacy, ethics, field-learning observations and preparation of a structured field-learning report.
Assessment and Completion
Three stage-wise online assessments are scheduled after Modules 1–2, Modules 3–4 and Modules 5–6. Each existing ATAL MCQ assessment contains 50 questions, has a 45-minute duration and requires 40% to pass. Completion requirements and any certificate outcome remain subject to the verified academic-provider and certificate-issuing-body disclosure shown below.
Guided Field Learning and Documentation
The final 6 months / 26 weeks focus on guided observation, awareness activities, documentation, practical-file support and preparation of a field-learning report.
This does not constitute a guaranteed clinical internship or job placement. Any external field-learning opportunity is subject to availability, the concerned provider’s rules and lawful supervision.
Learners must not diagnose, prescribe, independently dispense medicines, perform restricted clinical procedures or represent themselves as licensed healthcare professionals.
